Golf Community Homes for Sale
Golf communities in Pinellas County run the full range, from easygoing 55-plus villages with a par-three course to gated country clubs with tennis, marinas and a full social calendar. As of mid-October 2026 there are roughly 690 homes and condos for sale in Pinellas communities with golf, starting near $200,000 and running past $9 million, with an average asking price around $840,000.
Where golfers buy around Tampa Bay
Innisbrook, Palm Harbor. Four courses including the Copperhead, host of the PGA Tour's Valspar Championship. Condo suites and homes on rolling, wooded terrain that does not look like the rest of Florida.
East Lake Woodlands, Oldsmar. A gated country club community with two courses, plus villas and cluster homes that are some of the most attainable golf-front properties in the county.
Bayou Club and Bardmoor, Largo and Seminole. Established neighborhoods with larger homes, mature landscaping, and a central location between the beaches and the Tampa airport.
Isla del Sol and Pasadena Yacht and Country Club, St. Pete. Golf and boating together, minutes from St. Pete Beach. If you want the dock and the tee time in one address, start here.
Placido Bayou and Feather Sound. Gated, quiet, and close to downtown St. Pete or the Gateway business corridor.
What to look at beyond the course
Membership is its own decision. Some communities bundle a mandatory club membership with the home, others make it optional, and the monthly cost varies widely. Ask what is required before you fall in love with a floor plan.
Fees and what they cover. HOA or condo dues may include cable, lawn care, gates and amenities, or almost nothing. Compare the real monthly number, not just the list price.
Condo reserves and milestone reports. Florida's inspection and reserve rules have reshaped condo budgets. I will pull the documents and walk through them with you.
Flood zone and insurance. Several golf communities sit near water or low-lying ground. Elevation, roof age and insurability affect your monthly cost as much as the mortgage does.
Golf course views versus golf course exposure. A fairway view is lovely. Being in the line of play is not. I will tell you which lots I would avoid.
